Restore Orlando

In 1992, Restore Orlando set out to achieve a vision of raising a generation of people who are spiritually, physically, and emotionally equipped to use their God-given talents to develop permanent and positive growth in their families and community.

Today, Restore Orlando, with the support and partnership of churches, businesses, foundations and private citizens, is restoring hope in the lives of Central Florida residents.

Restore's primary target area is the Holden Heights area, which covers approximately 180 blocks in unincorporated Orange County. Just a mile and a half from downtown Orlando, the area is uniquely challenged facing the realities of poverty in its many forms: sub-standard nutrition, poorly educated populous, inadequate housing, environmental maladies and little or no political influence. The manifestation of these realities give way to hopelessness, despair and a cycle of poverty.

Restore Orlando's Core Programs (listed below) reflect the organization's growth and capacity to empower and enable Central Florida's disadvantaged residents. Restore encourages brighter futures -- one child, one family, one community at a time.
